This instrument is designed to measure temperature using up to 8 sensors simultaneously.
Detailed description
- Supports up to 8× 1-Wire interfaces for DS18B20 Dallas temperature sensors, using 2.5mm 4-pin audio jack connectors (commonly available on most e-commerce platforms).
- Automatically reboots any sensor if an incorrect value (NaN) is received.
- Two general-purpose, user-programmable buttons.
- 128×64 OLED display.
- Powered via USB-C.
- Compatible with ESPHome and Home Assistant.
- Comes pre-flashed and ready to use — no additional configuration required.
- OSHWA certified.
Amazing Case
We put serious effort into designing the case for this instrument. We had to become friends with FreeCAD on this journey — so please take a moment to appreciate our work 🙂
The case is SLA 3D printed in our Makerspace using AmeraLabs XVN-50 resin, suitable for engineering applications. It’s printed with a 50 µm layer thickness.
The case is also very easy to disassemble: just unscrew four screws, and you’re good to go!
Important!
Temperature sensors are not included by default. You can purchase them from us when ordering the instrument on Tindie, or buy them separately from most e-commerce platforms. We tested sensors from various suppliers, and they worked reliably without significant issues.
If you decide to get some sensors, please take a few spares—you never know when one might fail.
