This page explains where discount codes work on sobotz.com and where they do not. It applies to every code we issue, unless the code itself says otherwise.
Where a code works
Discount codes apply to parts sold at their normal price. Enter your code at the checkout, in the Add coupons box next to your order summary. The discount is shown before you pay.
Where a code does not work
Codes cannot be used on:
- Items that are already discounted. This covers anything showing a sale price, and anything already reduced by a quantity discount, where the price per piece drops as you buy more.
- Repeat Robotics products.
- Makerspace products.
We stock Repeat Robotics and Makerspace parts for other makers, and their prices are already as low as we can sell them for. A discount on top is not something we can carry.
What this looks like in your basket
- If your basket holds both kinds of items, the code applies to the eligible ones only. The excluded items stay at their normal price.
- If everything in your basket is excluded, the code will not apply, and the checkout will tell you so.
The rest of the rules
- One code per order. Codes cannot be combined with each other.
- Each code has its own end date, and some need a minimum order value. The checkout tells you if a code has run out or the minimum is not reached.
- Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
- Codes reduce the price of the parts, not the delivery charge, unless the code is a free-delivery code.
- Each code can be used once per customer, unless we say otherwise.
- We can change or withdraw a code at any time. Orders already placed are not affected.
- If you return something bought with a code, we refund what you actually paid for it. See our Refund and Returns Policy.
- Codes are for personal orders. If you are buying to resell, write to us instead and we will talk about trade prices.
